Description:

The Clubs Officer is responsible for supporting the achievement of Swinburne Student Life’s values, mission and goals. You will perform all the operational and administrative aspects of the Clubs and Sport service including the promotion and delivering of quality student experiences. Organisational knowledge; judgement; independence and problem solving are important aspects of the role.

The Clubs Officer plays an integral role in the delivery of quality customer service to students and Swinburne Student Life outcomes. You will also represent Swinburne Student Life and the University to industry, community and government to establish and maintain professional and collaborative opportunities.

In a typical day-in-the-life; you’ll get to:

  • Build meaningful relationships with student leaders from diverse backgrounds and interests
  • Provide mentorship to our student leaders in navigating policy and procedure
  • Work on a variety of projects, from service improvement, to club activities that enhance the student experience
  • Facilitate social club activities i.e. record keeping, compliance, events, reporting etc.
  • Maintain broad stakeholder relationships internal and external to Swinburne
