The Opportunity

The Applications and Information Management (AIM) team comprises a number of sub-teams, including: Cloud Applications, Application Development and Support, Corporate Analytics, and the Records Management Unit.

We are a collaborative, dynamic, and inclusive team of professionals, who view our work as essential to enable PM&C to operate efficiently and innovatively. AIM is focused on promoting and supporting a culture of best practice in the management of our IT services. We actively engage with our business areas to support their needs, and seek to improve the level of cloud application adoption across the Department.

As a Cloud Services Administrator in the Cloud Applications team, you will support the Department’s digital transformation initiatives by contributing to the management, support, and expansion of our cloud environments. You will:

  • Provide cloud infrastructure and Office 365 administration and support
  • Review existing cloud infrastructure to ensure solutions continue to meet the needs of the Department
  • Design and deploy cloud infrastructure, in consultation with senior technical resources
  • Engage in proof of concept work for new technologies
  • Engage in automation of existing processes
  • Provide advice to business areas seeking new IT solutions
  • Build and maintain stakeholder relationships with executives, business representatives, project managers, developers, and PM&C staff.


Our Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have 2 years’ experience providing IT services, and will possess some of the following:

  • Experience administering and providing support for a broad range of IT environments/applications – experience in Azure and Office 365 will be highly regarded
  • Experience working as part of a team to design and deliver technical solutions for business problems
  • Experience with scripting languages and automation of processes
  • Ability and willingness to learn new technologies
  • Ability to liaise and build positive relationships with key stakeholders at varying levels
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and adapt well to change
  • Strong communication and knowledge sharing capability.
