Description:
Our QLD Government Client is seeking a Cloud Engineer for a massive program of work having an effect throughout the organisation.
This is a 12 months long term contract with potential extensions, located at our Client's Brisbane CBD location.
- Assist with the planning and implementation / migration of applications and Azure services
- Manage cloud environments in accordance with Whole of Government and departmental technical and security guidelines.
- Analyse, support, and maintain existing and installed IT infrastructure and networks including cloud platforms, storage, databases etc. to make sure there is continuous implementation happening.
- Evaluate, (re)develop, implement, and maintain ICT procedures, plans, strategies, and other technical documentation as required through the delivery of projects.
- Educate teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives, providing upskilling and knowledge transfer as required.
- Experience in re-architecting and re-factoring Azure tenancy in terms of well architected framework.
- Strong Microsoft cloud, server, and desktop knowledge with skills in the following: Microsoft 365 services, and Azure cloud services.
- Background in a professional services environment or similar, delivering a variety of small, medium, and large projects across multiple customers
- Strong verbal and written communication with a consultative approach to determining client requirements along with a collaborative approach to developing and deploying solutions
