Your mission

Escort our customers safely through their journey into the latest cloud technologies.

You will have input into the design and own the implementation of game changing AWS based solutions across a range of client types and industries including Public Sector, SaaS and Finance.

Some of the fun things you will get to do include:

• Working with clients to understand application and technical requirements.
• Delivery of complex, business aligned, AWS based solutions for application and technical architectures.
• Providing architectural design input into next gen cloud solutions leveraging IaaS, PaaS and Serverless.
• Drive adoption of DevOps processes and tools.

The hero

We are seeking brave and fearless Cloud Engineers that are aspiring Solutions Architects. You will be able to execute mission plans successfully on your journey to planning and designing (architecting) future quests (projects).

To take up the challenge, you will have a depth of skills and experience including:

• Curiosity for the latest in cloud technologies.
• Sound judgement and pragmatic approach to delivering AWS architectures that balance customer needs, business constraints and technology.
• An understanding of application architecture and development principles.
• Ideally some experience in DevSecOps principles and practices.
• Systems architecture within high availability web and enterprise environments.
• A good knowledge of networking and security.
• Solid Linux and Windows admin skills.
• Experience implementing highly available load balanced solutions.
• Experience in application deployment and release management (CI/CD).
• Able to work with a range of weapons (just kidding, but knowledge of multiple AWS services would be helpful)

We understand that not everyone can hit the ground running and we can provide the support to get you up to speed at velocity but having some existing AWS certifications will greatly help.
