The Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) leads the Australian Government’s efforts to improve cyber security. We are part of the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) and our role is to help make Australia the most secure place to connect online. Position Overview As a Cloud Administrator at ASD’s ACSC, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity, performance, and security of our cloud-based systems. This position requires a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in AWS cloud technologies and be able to contribute to discussions, planning, and implementation of new systems.

Key Responsibilities
 

• Investigate and troubleshoot issues related to AWS cloud infrastructure, promptly resolving any identified issues.
• Monitor the performance of cloud systems, proactively identifying and addressing any performance bottlenecks or issues.
• Contribute to discussions requiring expert advice on cloud infrastructure and related technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the design, planning, and implementation of new cloud-based systems.
• Maintain and administer Linux servers, ensuring their stability, security and optimising performance in a cloud environment.
• Configure and provide advice on Cloudflare configuration to optimize performance and enhance security.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures
