As the Clinics Program Coordinator, this position is set within an independent suburban primary school that supports children experiencing serious disadvantage to access the resources and support they require to lead healthy and fulfilling lives.

In your new role, you will be responsible for the planning and coordination of a program of activities which support a key area initiative, plans, or deliverables of the Challis Community Primary School Clinic. The incumbent may have acknowledged expertise in a specialised area, for example, practice coordination or management, working with young adults and children and operating with a high degree of autonomy under broad direction from the line manager.

This role will ensure interprofessional Curtin University students are provided with high-quality and safe learning experiences whilst delivering health and social services to school children and displaying a commitment to continuous improvement.

In this role, you will, but are not limited to:

  • Operationalise student placement requirements in the context of a working clinic environment, with a focus on continuing quality improvement
  • Coordinate and oversee the implementation and review of processes and procedures to enhance the student learning experience, deliver quality health and social services, and meet discipline-specific requirements
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure optimal program outcomes
  • Provide leadership and guidance to clinic staff and stakeholders
