Description:
As the Clinical Care Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being of the residents. You will be responsible for managing a team of experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) and support workers, guiding them to deliver the highest standard of care. Your main duties will include:
- Ensuring the Rights and Well-being of Residents: Advocating for the rights and dignity of residents, ensuring their physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual needs are appropriately met.
- Compliance with Legislation and Audits: Ensure that the facility adheres to all relevant legislation and regulatory requirements. Coordinate and undergo internal audits to maintain the highest quality of care and safety standards.
- Leadership and Team Management: Lead and inspire a team of experienced RNs and support workers, fostering a positive work culture, and encouraging professional development.
- Building Strong Relationships: Develop and maintain strong, trusting relationships with residents' families, carers, and external stakeholders.
Qualifications And Experience
- Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with AHPRA registration
- Demonstrated leadership experience within an aged care facility.
- Strong understanding of aged care best practices, regulations, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for providing exceptional care.
- Empathy, compassion, and a commitment to creating a nurturing environment for residents.
