Legal Aid NSW helps people with their legal problems. We can help people with most areas of criminal law, family law and every day civil law legal issues. We give legal advice, help at court and do family dispute resolution. We can do this over the telephone or at one of our 27 offices.

About you

We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated professional who:

• has strong communication skills coupled with ability to consult with internal and external stakeholders

• has experience in mental health

• has experience in making referrals and offering support to persons with mental illness

• thrives working in a team environment and works well with others

• experience with Guardianship Board, Mental Health Tribunal will be highly regarded

• experience in reporting to Courts, Tribunals or Mental health Review Board will be highly regarded
