Description:
The successful applicant will have:
- a strong commitment to Catholic Education and Catholic Identity
- a willingness to be involved in the school and Parish Community
- accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School or a willingness to complete accreditation
- experience and knowledge of the 'Walker Learning Approach' or an advocate of 'play based' pedagogy
- experience and knowledge of 'Visible Learning' approach e.g. using LISC, feedback etc.
- knowledge of and experience using 'Essential Assessments' as a tool for pre/ post planning
- understanding of 'data driven' teaching
- exemplary learning and teaching skills with the capacity and desire to share this knowledge in a professional, collaborative and collegial way
- experience in using 'SeeSaw' as a reflection tool and a way of sharing learning
- strong interpersonal and communication skills with the capacity to continue to build strong relationships with students, staff, parents and our Parish community
- exemplary classroom management and teaching skills
- a commitment to working collaboratively as part of a team
- a commitment to ongoing personal and professional development
- a strong understanding of contemporary learning and the Victorian Curriculum
- relevant qualifications and abilities to teach at all levels
- an understanding of AITSL standards and expectations of Professional Teachers.
