DESCRIPTION OF BUSINESS:

Green Civil Australia deals with Civil Works - Earthworks, Bulk and Detail Excavation, Drainage, Kerb and Gutter, Stormwater, Concrete, Retaining Walls, Piling, Roads, Road Works, Car Parks & Demolition. We have a successful track record of delivering civil projects on time and within budget.

Hence we need Civil Engineer to perform following responsibilities and duties:

RESPONSIBILITY:

1. Primary Responsibility is to execute end to end Civil Works - Earthworks, Bulk and Detail Excavation, Drainage, Kerb and Gutter, Stormwater, Concrete, Retaining Walls, Piling, Roads, Road Works, Car Parks & Demolition.

TASKS OR DUTIES:

1. Prepare plans/drawings and execute Civil Works - Earthworks, Bulk and Detail Excavation, Drainage, Kerb and Gutter, Stormwater, Concrete, Retaining Walls, Piling, Roads, Road Works, Car Parks & Demolition.

2. Supervise end to end project civil works

3. Studying and interpreting drawings & specifications for Roads, Road Works, Car Parks, Earthworks, Kerb and Gutters.

4. Prepare estimates for Excavation, Concreting and Plastering Works,

5. Excavation site visits and investigations. Check Quality Standards.

6. Prepare drawings/plans for drainage, gutters, storm water passages & kerbs

7. Estimate materials and costs for concreting, retaining walls & piling

8. Prepare Project Budget Plans - estimates & costs,

9. Order the materials and receive deliveries and review stock levels,

10. Arrange manpower / workers and allocate rooster and tasks

11. Order or Rent machinery, tools & equipments. Keep records.

12. Undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigations

13. Using a range of computer software for developing detailed cost plans and estimates

14. Costing labour and material components in meeting tender requirements and the scope of work

15. Preparing tenders document and proposals. Involve in Negotiations.

16. Identifying contract / cost options for profitable and sustainable tenders

17. Estimating changes during the construction and taking the variation approvals

18. Reviewing contract performance, with a view to identifying more effective contract options

19. Determining, submitting and presenting the construction procedure and programme

20. Supervising site labours, coordinating the site activities and proposing proper solutions for construction difficulties

21. Cost advice at all stages of project/s

22. Propagating and submitting the reports, claims, variations and associated documentation

23. Compiling job specifications and supervising tendering procedures

24. Scheduling material and equipment purchases and deliveries

25. Complying with Commonwealth, State and Territory Laws, Rules, Regulations, Polices and Guidelines,

26. Comply with Health and Safety Regulations

Appropriate candidate must have the following skills, education and experience:

Education: Bachelor of Civil Engineering or Higher Degree {recognized by Engineering Australia}

Australian Experience: At least 3 + years of Australian Experience OR

Overseas Experience: At least 5+ years of Overseas Experience
