Description:
We are looking for someone who has excellent skills and deep experience in building new working relationships with individuals and groups to join our Adelaide team! The successful candidate will be strongly aligned to the values of this leading Christian not-for-profit organisation.
You will be responsible to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of various activities designed to support the Strategic Partnerships Department in order to maximise Compassion Australia’s profile, influence and impact within South Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate, nurture, and grow existing partnerships with churches.
- Identify new partnership opportunities with individuals or groups and generate leads within the local church context and/or philanthropic fundraising landscape.
- Achieve financial and non-financial targets by developing donor engagement opportunities in line with national strategies.
- Implement church national strategies to develop strategic partnerships with new churches and other key stakeholders.
- Contribute collaboratively to the continuous development and improvement of methodology and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- Qualifications in Ministry, Sales, Marketing and/or communications (Highly Desirable)
- Exemplary interpersonal skills, including the ability to network with people of diverse ages and backgrounds
- Exemplary communication skills, including persuasive negotiating and public speaking abilities
- In depth knowledge and networks within the local church context and/or philanthropic fundraising landscape.
- Ability to seek out, analyse and utilise data insights to make strategic decisions.
- A demonstrated capacity to build the influence and impact of an organisation by developing and managing meaningful partnerships and networks with external stakeholders
