8x8 is growing its Channel sales organization and is seeking an effective and motivated Channel Manager to join the growing ANZ Team. The role is ideal for a candidate wishing to step up to a Vendor role. The selected candidate will have a track record in building successful channels, driving a channel number, on-boarding, enabling and making Channel Partners productive leading to significant pipeline growth.

Understanding and establishing Channel and System Integrator Reseller networks within the region is a must. Significant emphasis for this role will be on growing the existing channel as well as recruiting desirable new Channel Partners to meet the business growth objectives.

The role interacts closely with the Sales Account Executives and efforts must be coordinated, so strong communication skills are a must.

The position requires a person who is used to meeting revenue quotas on a quarterly basis, and preferably has worked for a US based organization in the past. This is desirable, but not a must.

Responsibilities

  • Relationship and stakeholder management
  • Pipeline creation – business planning, campaigns, joint partner events, prospecting with partners
  • Identify and recruit new partners in region
  • Identify industry events to utilize for recruiting efforts in region
  • Develop Partner business plans for sales and marketing activities and reviewed quarterly
  • Negotiate partner contracts
  • Coordinate onboarding and enablement with 8x8 departments to new partners including relevant Certification, per Partner model type
  • Evaluate partner performance in the region and provide assistance to partners that are under-performing or develop a recruiting plan to address any issues
  • Present to a broad range of Partner stakeholders on all value aspects of 8x8
  • Represent 8x8 at the most senior levels across the Partner community
  • Accurately manage a multi-channel pipeline and forecast in Salesforce.com

Qualifications

  • 3 years channel management or channel development experience
  • Knowledge of 8x8 product line advantageous, though not a requirement
  • Knowledge of Cloud, Call Centre, CRM, PABX or IVRS related applications mandatory
  • Background working with Large Account Resellers
  • Highly organized and self-motivated
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate efforts of multiple teams and team members to achieve common goal
  • Resourceful and a quick learner
  • Selling Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS), SaaS and Cloud Contact Center Solutions
