Change And Communication Specialist

Saab Australia is in an exciting time of growth and transformation, prompting the need to grow the Change & Communication team. The Change & Communication Specialist will be primarily responsible for the development and implementation of effective change and communication plans to increase awareness, change acceptance and adoption to reduce overall business and people impact. The incumbent will work closely with other key members of the transformation team to build and further establish this function, including its capability, tools and methodologies.

Further, the successful candidate will:

  • Lead hands on execution of Change & Communication activities to support projects across the business, leveraging appropriate tools and methodologies
  • Support and foster a culture of strong change management, operational resilience and change adoption across the business
  • Support the identification, analysis and prioritisation of change and communication opportunities across Saab Australia
  • Coordinate regular Change & Communication governance and reporting
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders

 

Flexible work arrangements such as hybrid work from home / office will be considered for this role.

About You

Your skills and experience will include:

  • Proven experience in developing and implementing successful change and communication plans for projects supporting organisational change efforts.
  • Proven change and communication experience across a range of project types including digital transformation, system, process, culture and transformational projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of a range of change management methodologies and tools.
  • Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills (both written and verbal) suitable for liaison with all levels within an organisation.
  • Graphic design/video skills together with Adobe Create Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), Content Management Systems (SharePoint, Confluence), Microsoft Office, JIRA (desirable).
  • Produce consistent, high quality work in a fast paced environment, with competing deadlines.
