A teacher employed in the TAFE sector will work collaboratively within a team of education professionals. Within this team environment, they will plan deliver, assess, evaluate and ensure compliance of high-quality education and training programs. This role requires our teachers to be able to customise and adapt our programs to meet our learners and clients’ needs that vary from certificate level through to diploma and associate degree levels.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Library and Information Services teacher to join our team on a casual basis to inspire, engage and educate our students for the 21st century. In this role, you may be responsible for some of the units below:

  • BSBINS516 Undertake cataloguing activities
  • BSBINS505 Provide subject access and classify material
  • ICTSAS432 Identify and resolve client ICT problems
  • BSBINS510 Develop community and stakeholder relationships in a library environment
  • BSBXCS402 Promote workplace cyber security awareness and best practices
