Swinburne is embarking on an exciting journey, working towards our new vision of bringing people and technology together to build a better world. A teacher employed in the TAFE sector will work collaboratively within a team of education professionals. Within this team environment, they will plan deliver, assess, evaluate and ensure compliance of high-quality education and training programs. This role requires our teachers to be able to customise and adapt our programs to meet our learners and clients’ needs that vary from certificate level through to diploma and associate degree levels.

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110 or its successor)
• Relevant library degree or vocational qualification
• Substantial work experience in libraries
• Demonstrated ability or the capacity to provide support and advice to students of diverse cultures, backgrounds and abilities
• A valid working with children’s check (or ability to obtain prior to or upon commencement)
• Available for a full day on Thursdays
