Care Manager

Description:

YOUR Role will involve overseeing the care team to ensure high-quality support services are provided to our residents. You’ll manage client care budgets, ensure compliance with regulations, and handle administrative tasks related to staffing and financial management. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining a positive culture and achieving operational excellence while meeting the unique needs of our clients. Additionally, you will be responsible for promoting work health and safety practices, implementing quality management protocols, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

YOUR Experience:
 

• Tertiary qualification in aged care, health, nursing, community services, and/or equivalent relevant experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Home Care Packages (HCP) management and/or clinical roles managing teams and budgets.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and support your team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to client-centred care.
• Knowledge of the DVA Community Nursing Program, HCP, Aged Care Quality Standards, Code of Conduct for Aged Care, and the Charter of Aged Care Rights.
• Effective computer and IT skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Microsoft Teams.
• Covid-19 vaccinations.
