We are looking for an experienced Business Systems Manager to join the team based in our Perth Head Office.

As the Business Systems Manager, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, training, and improvement of all business systems across Decmil.

Responsibilities include

• Determining operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, evaluating output requirements and formats.
• To Lead and design innovative solutions by analysing requirements, constructing workflow charts and diagrams, studying system capabilities, and writing specifications.
• Recommending controls by identifying problems and writing improved procedures.
• Developing and implementing project management plans and demonstrating system changes.
• Implementing and improving business systems across the business.
• Assisting in system reviews and post implementation audits.
• Managing projects which are likely to bring about improved efficiency and functionality of business processes.
• Assisting in developing acceptance testing and user training plans to ensure the quality of the product as well as its smooth implementation.

What We Are Looking For

To be considered for this role you will have:

• Diploma or Tertiary qualification in Engineering preferred.
• Previous experience in the resources or construction and engineering industry.
• Proven experience in the development, implementation, and support of business systems within a large organisation.
• Strong on implementation of controls and validation.
• Competent database and data-model architecture knowledge and skills.
• Advanced analytical experience and the ability to understand and manipulate Business Intelligence tools and dashboards / reports.
• Experience in Ineight (Construction Project Management software) preferred.
