Our newly Business Solutions Analyst will actively partner with members to complete analysis of complex business issues and/or emerging opportunities. Contribute to the justification of the need for change and the desired business outcomes.
You will work collaboratively with other stakeholders to describe the future end to end businesses processes. Ensuring compliance with our legal and regulative requirements, project management and business analysis frameworks:
- Use innovative thinking, process improvement techniques and problem solving skills when performing analysis on processes and systems
- Incident triage, resolution and reporting
- Gathers and documents business requirements through relevant artefacts (BRDs, User Stories, Use Cases, Jira Requests, etc). Including functional, non-functional, reporting and transition requirements
- Analyse legal impacts of the various laws on business practices and systems ensuring policies and procedures are applied correctly the business workflows and systems
- Make recommendations for operational improvements to facilitate business effectiveness
- Coordinates business requirements sign off sessions
- Maintain a central library for all business requirement and system documents
- Knowledge of Customer/Human Centred Design, prototyping and process modelling/mapping Knowledge of Project Management Frameworks (PMBOK or PRINCE2)
- Demonstrated Experience of software methodologies (ITIL, AGILE, Waterfall)
- Knowledge of Testing methodologies, strategies, plans and cases
- Demonstrated experience in analysis and supporting an integrated environment of partners and vendors
- Experience in full stack analysis from IT infrastructure through to end user design to assist with requirements elaboration, testing and triaging incidents
- Experience writing business and functional requirements, business user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, operational documentation, storyboards and other analysis/design artefacts effectively (for example screen prototypes)
- Experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Visio, workflow/process mapping tools and Project or similar
- Knowledge of insurance industry / Service Now/ SSP
