Your new role:
As the Business Operations Analyst you will always be crafting up innovative and meaningful analysis of business operations data to develop and identify insights to help make informed decisions to improve business performance.
This role enables the delivery of key business strategy improvement initiatives by utilising your forward thinking and creative insights, highlighting areas of improvement or weakness. Your work will make a significant difference to the Operational Strategy and support Maritime Sustainment for many years and generations to come.

• Own, create and manage the business operational analytics and performance insights
• Think strategically and into the future creating regular analysis themes, key trends and actionable insights on operational performance and financial data including: economic and business investment modelling.
• Develop suitable processes and models that enable the robust analysis of projects and customer deliverables across Maritime Sustainment Australia
• Support the leadership team and partner with the business to present meaningful and strategic metrics

About you As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you'll have:

• Experience in a Business Analytics or Financial Analysis with knowledge of LEAN, Six Sigma or CMMi.
• Inquisitive mind, capable of investigating hot spots or issues. Problem solver using root cause analysis to help find successful solutions
• Able to work effectively at all levels of our organisation and clearly articulate messages to different audiences with influence, verbally and in writing
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to work in challenging situations.
• Highly organised and innovative thinker
• Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
