The main goal of this role is to boost revenue growth through creative strategies. You'll lead the design and implementation of sales plans for commercial and residential projects, optimizing SUHO's talented technical team's performance to drive profitable growth. Joining a team that leads by example and values knowledge sharing, you'll contribute to growth and development by performing the following tasks:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and potential clients.
- Support sales strategies to achieve business growth.
- Conduct regular internal and external client meetings.
- Execute marketing initiatives and services to maximize new business opportunities and client retention.
- Present SUHO's solutions to Architects & Designers, Builders, and Developers.
- Manage client activity using their in-house system, Accelo.

Based in Docklands, Melbourne, you'll collaborate closely with colleagues in both Melbourne and Adelaide offices. Your interpersonal skills will be essential for building relationships across the building industry. To be successful in the role, you will possess the following skills, experience and traits:
Several years of relevant experience in customer relationships and sales, preferably in the architectural, design, or construction industry.
- Strong existing network within the architectural, design, or construction industry.
- Proven track record in developing strategies to support business plans.
- Demonstrated ability to build professional relationships and manage the customer journey.
- Excellent organizational, administrative, and time management skills.
- Effective and confident communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation abilities for fostering a positive team environment and delivering high-quality service.
- Collaborative mindset to work closely with technical support groups and provide guidance.
- Strong values of honesty, integrity, and ethical conduct.
The following will be viewed favourably but not essential:
Understanding of Australian construction codes.
- Knowledge or interest in ESD services including but not limited to BESS, Greenstar, JV3 and NABERS.
- Experience mentoring others in developing professional relationships and the customer journey.
- Experience in development and delivery of marketing strategies to support the business.
