Within the scope of group training, GTES is an employer of Apprentices and Trainees. We are searching for highly talented, driven, and devoted individuals to join our passionate team in accomplishing this company development and maintaining our high standard of customer care.

As a Business Development Officer, your duties will include and is not limited to marketing, business development, attracting and registering new employers, engaging, placing, and monitoring Apprentices and Trainees, and labour hire workers.

Providing excellent customer service and completing administrative tasks to a high standard to allow Business growth is a major focus of this position.

To be successful in this rewarding role you must meet the following selection criteria.

  • Substantial outside marketing and company development experience that has been proven.

  • Excellent planning, negotiating, and communication abilities, as well as the capacity to persuade a variety of stakeholders.

  • Measurable expertise in attaining sales goals.

  • Knowledge of the apprenticeship/traineeship system

  • Experience gained during an apprenticeship or training program is recommended but not required.

  • Provide excellent client service

  • Outstanding reading, numeracy, and computer skills
