With a fantastic delivery model in place, our APAC Director is now looking for a Business Development Manager to promote our Industrial Maintenance Engineering recruitment services to new and existing clients. In this 100% client-facing role and reporting directly to the APAC Director you will:

  • Act as the main POC for existing customers, building relationships with their stakeholders, promoting our services and understanding their needs.
  • Identify prospective new customers in east coast Australia and New Zealand through market research and networking, identify relevant client stakeholders, understand their needs and build effective business relationships.
  • Generate new orders which you will communicate to the divisional talent attraction team.
  • Oversee service delivery by the talent attraction team to ensure excellent client and candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Build excellent relationships with stakeholders across your division including regular virtual and onsite meetings to discuss performance and SLAs, this may include quarterly presentations to clients to discuss reports/data we have put together.
  • Provide advice to customers on current market conditions and salaries.
  • Use the existing suite of marketing material and online content and play an active role in shaping our message to market to support your sales and promote the Proactive brand
  • Ensuring training needs are met to give TA team members the ability to provide a comprehensive resourcing service


About you:
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious professional with experience in new business development. A background in recruitment would be advantageous but is not essential. Similarly, some experience of industrial automation, maintenance trades or engineering related disciplines would be beneficial but full training will be provided.
