Description:

My client is an Australian owned manufacturer of low-voltage electrical equipment. They have been around for over 25 years and have a leading presence in their space.
Product offerings include main switchboards, distribution boards, temporary power boards, combined meter panels, service and metering equipment, CT chambers, enclosures and so much more.
They are looking for 2 Business Development Managers to join their team across the engineered products and the standard products. The role will be working closely with unique high end electrical contractors, big commercial builders and electrical wholesalers. You will need a thorough understanding of this space or an electrical license to be a suitable fit for the role. You will also need to be competent with SLD single line diagram.
This is a very autonomous role so you must be able to manage your time and plan your own day.

  • Tertiary qualified or Electrical Trade Background.
  • Solid presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and highly goal-oriented to achieve sales targets.
  • Highly organised and focused on personal time management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail and
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals.
  • The ability to build relationships effectively.
  • Must be able to work independently as well as working in a team environment.

In return the client is offering a competative salary package plus car allowance plus a company bonus and totally uncapped commission on individual contributions.
