Description:
Deliver and execute upon strategic marketing plans:
- Develop marketing plans for franchise portfolio.
- Monitor market data to identify ANZ market trends and opportunities for the portfolio.
- Partner with Global Marketing, APAC Marketing, Operations and Commercial team to ensure successful launch and commercial execution of new products
- Collect and share market and competitive intelligence to sales organization (public procurements, competitors, business partners).
- Provide regular updates on competition, Cepheid market penetration and competitive trends.
- Understand and know clinical environment and competitor products.
Drive awareness and demand for Cepheid products and services:
- Partner with sales team to drive product group execution within each territory and nationally.
- Actively engage with clinicians, KOL’s, infection prevention, laboratory, buyer groups, policy makers and other stakeholders as required to drive the Product Group’s acceptance, implementation and growth via ‘Solution Selling’ and ‘Training Excellence’.
- Design and deliver marketing collateral to support customer communication strategy
- Competency: Maintain and demonstrate technical, application and clinical utility knowledge for the GeneXpert Systems and Assays in order to drive adoption within both the existing customer base and new opportunities.
- Provide education and technical expertise to customers and internal team/s by introducing product clinical value and demonstrating product features to meet customers’ unmet needs.
- Provide support, tools and training to the ANZ team.
- Drive publications for the product portfolio ensuring we are well represented at key conferences/meetings and in peer reviewed journals
- Drive local social media marketing for the designated Product Group
- Initiate key scientific and health economic studies and projects
- Manage customer communication strategies around product group availability, changes and developments.
Achieve business objectives and revenue targets:
- Participate in forecasting/planning projects and support demand planning
- Drive lead generation and acceleration of opportunities into the sales funnel
- Map marketing/sales collateral to marketing/sales funnel stages
- Manage customer data in the company CRM and adherence to Cepheid SOP’s.
- Liaise with Regulatory for Product Registration and changes to comply with Australian and New Zealand requirements
- Liaise with Quality and Technical Support on Post Market surveillance activities
