Business Development Manager

 

Description:

We have an exciting permanent full-time opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our FUJIFILM Process Automation group in Melbourne, VIC.

Your main responsibility will be to sell Process Automation Solutions to new customers while building long term relationships and drive business growth. You would ensure customer satisfaction by actively building relationships, identifying and fulfilling customer needs. This role will involve 80% of lead generation/ bringing new business and 20% of upselling and cross selling with existing clients.

We are looking for a proactive individual who enjoys working in a collaborative fast-paced environment while delivering best customer experience. We employ a hybrid working charter with flexible working options and 3 days/ week office attendance.

Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Growing the FUJIFILM Process Automation business unit by securing new customers and identifying opportunities across Corporate and local government sectors
  • Cross-sell and upsell through relationships across the FUJIFILM divisions and operating companies, co-sell with strategic software vendors and partners
  • Close collaboration with a range of internal stakeholders, including pre-sales, inside sales, marketing, strategic software vendors and partners
  • Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the monthly revenue goals.
  • Run solution demonstrations with prospective customers, generate proposal agreements and negotiate complex sales cycle.
  • Make sure sales forecasts are reported and monitored on a weekly basis.
  • Deliver a high level of customer satisfaction through regular engagements, providing educational sharing within industry specific knowledge, along with trends and themes within the DX transformational journey.



Skills & Qualifications
 

  • 7+ years’ experience in B2B sales of business solutions, software, or services with understanding of complex sales cycles and solutions selling
  • Experience in Business Process Automation. This can be in the form of ERP/CRM solution selling, Business & Robotic Process Automation Software sales,
  • Business Process Analysis and Re-engineering experience.
  • Experience in corporate business processes is highly desirable (Finance AP/AR, HR, Operations, Procurement, Customer Service)
  • Proven track record in developing net new logo business.
  • Ability to run software and solution demonstrations.
  • General knowledge of IT Enterprise Architecture.
  • Strong sales skills and experience managing client expectations and relationships. Ideally qualified in consulting led sales methodologies
  • Understands financial aspects of deals and presents financial business case in proposals
  • Understanding of customer drivers, purchasing/decision processes
  • Experience engaging with C level executives going through digital transformation
