My client is a leading FinTech SaaS company that is expanding rapidly across Australia. They have won numerous awards for their solutions and are an extremely well known and highly regarded brand.

 

As a result of this continued growth, they are looking to recruit an outstanding Business Development Manager to help increase their expanding presence in Brisbane / Queensland.

 

Business Development Manager - Key responsibilities:

 

  • Target new business opportunities across Queensland (multiple sectors/industries - SMB/Mid Market upwards)
  • Achievement of revenue targets
  • Internal and external key stakeholder management
  • Development of strategic account and territory plans
  • Commercial and legal contractual negotiations
  • Conferences and events

 

Key skills required:

 

  • Demonstrable track record of business development achievement, having ideally previously sold SaaS or Subscription Services into the SMB or Mid Market space (especially sectors such as Construction, Transport, Logistics, Hospitality etc).
  • You will be a proven new business hunter and relationship manager with strong conceptual and analytical skills
  • Consultative, client centric approach
  • Ability to create strategic account and territory development plans
  • Experience of short to mid term sales cycles (varied products, mutiple deals per month)
  • Experience of dealing at multiple levels with target clients (from Business owners through to MDs and Finance Managers)
