As the Business Development Manager - A&D Specification (Lighting), you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth through strategic engagement with Tier 1 clients. This role requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in developing and securing specifications within the architectural and design community.

Key Responsibilities
 

  • Client Engagement: Cultivate and nurture relationships with Tier 1 clients, including architects, designers, and key decision-makers. Collaborate closely with A&D firms to understand their project requirements and align our lighting solutions with their vision.
  • Specification Development: Drive the specification process for our lighting products within Tier 1 projects. Work closely with engineers and A&D professionals to ensure our products are seamlessly integrated into their design concepts.
  • Market Analysis and Strategy: Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities within the A&D community. Develop and execute targeted business development strategies to secure specifications with Tier 1 clients.
  • Sales Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales team to translate specifications into successful sales. Provide insights and support to ensure successful project outcomes and client satisfaction.
     

Qualifications:
 

  • Proven experience in business development within the lighting industry, with a focus on Architectural & Design specifications and engineers.
  • Deep understanding of the A&D community, project lifecycles, and specification processes.
  • Strong network within the architectural and design industry.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to drive results and exceed sales targets.
