Description:
This is a hunter role and suited to someone with an established network or someone who really enjoys chasing new opportunities. It's not a technical role however having experience or general understanding of networks and infrastructure will be an advantage. The role has full support from the engineering team on any technical presentations so providing you can get in the door and get things started you can utilise other areas of the business to assist with pitches and presentations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to increase revenue and customer base
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers in target companies
- Develop and present proposals that meet the needs of potential customers.
- Negotiate and close deals with prospective clients
- Work closely with the executive team to ensure the smooth transition of new business opportunities to the operations team
Requirements:
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in the IT managed services industry
- Good understanding of networks and experience selling solutions to enterprise level clients
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver persuasive presentations and proposals
- Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to close deals and reach agreements that are beneficial for both parties
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers
- A track record of achieving sales targets and business growth
- A proactive and results-driven approach to work
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Tertiary qualifications in business or a related field preferred
