Description:
As a Business Development Manager based in Morningside, Queensland, you will report to the State Commercial Manager and be responsible for new key account business within the Commercial space. You will look to grow the business, identifying new opportunities monitoring customers changing needs and competitor activity, developing strategic plans to grow market share, and ensuring a continued point of difference for Taubman/PPG offerings.
Responsibilities
- Secure the sales, profit, and growth targets with facilities managers and other bodies that have a focus on commercial property management.
- Develop the customer service proposition to support the brand strategy.
- Grow our existing valued customer base by delivering end-to-end coatings project services package.
- Achieve by ensuring influential relationships between the wider sales team and main customer contacts in the delivery of commercial projects.
- Ensure a position with targeted main decision influencers in the specification market. Clients will include facility managers and other bodies that have a focus on commercial property management.
- Implement specification/sales strategies to achieve both long- and short-term goals.
- Perform the role following PPG corporate values.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1+ years of experience with an understanding of the commercial drivers and changing needs within QLD.
- Experience in sales or as a business development manager from a similar industry.
- Experience in architectural coatings, specification services, or commercial building segments.
- Demonstrate a desire for identifying new opportunities and results and to improve your business segment.
