About You

You will be an experienced senior BDM with a detailed understanding of the private healthcare sector. You will have demonstrable knowledge and experience in invigorating a VMO network and service offering and enjoy a true partnership role. You will be skilled and confident to liaise with VMOs, hospital executives and corporate services. You will be engaging in manner and be able to develop and deliver a strategic road map in close consultation with national team and the State Manager. You will be self-motivated, have excellent commercial acumen, have a proven track record in business improvement and engagement, as well as be sufficiently flexible to adapt to the changing needs and priority attention of the network.

To be successful in your application, you will:

• have relevant tertiary qualifications (highly desirable)
• be experienced in private hospital medical and clinical services development
• have a sound understanding of orthopaedic, neurosurgical and cardiothoracics (highly desirable)
• have excellent communication skills & a strong desire to partner with internal stakeholders
• proven track record in directly contributing to growth of healthcare services utilisation and sources of referral
• have experience in team leadership
• ability to identify, develop, implement and promote new services
