Our client is a leading provider of technical and decorative fabric solution to a variety of customers within the building, construction, manufacturing, marine and agricultural industry. Established for many years, they are widely regarded as one of the top players within their space. You will be working for a calibre sales management that will provide you with the training, direction and guidance you need to succeed.
THE ROLE
- As the BDM, you will be looking after clients based in and around Brisbane and Northern NSW.
- You will be selling our client’s range of technical and decorative fabrics to end-users (i.e., marine, construction, industrial manufacturers, agriculture). These fabrics are everywhere around you! Here are some of the most common applications of these fabrics: Industrial: construction for geotextiles, marine for sailcloth, and agriculture for shade cloth. Geotextiles stabilize soil, sailcloth enhances sail performance, and shade cloth protects crops.
- This role is an integral part of the growth plans as you will be responsible for driving new business in SEQ and Northern NSW.
- You are also expected to identify and win new business within a broad range of markets - agriculture, marine, building and construction.
- You will work closely with the QLD Sales Manager, who will provide you full product training.
THE CANDIDATE
- THE MOST IMPORTANT THING: Proven track record of success as a HUNTER/BDM within the industrial, construction, marine AND/OR agriculture space!.
- It doesn’t matter what you have sold. We are looking for someone who enjoys hunting for new business and loves the thrill of the chase.
- In terms of soft skills, we are looking for someone who is a team player, enthusiastic and willing to learn.
