About the Role:

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities for Momentum Energy's commercial and industrial (C&I) team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of sales and business development experience, with a focus on the C&I sector. This individual will be responsible for generating leads, cultivating relationships with potential clients, and working closely with the sales team to close deals.

Your Key Activities Will Include:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the C&I sector
  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients and partners
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to potential clients
  • Negotiate and close deals with new clients
  • Utilise CRM tools to track and manage leads and sales activities
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments

About you and Your Experience:

  • Solid sales and business development experience, with a focus on the C&I sector
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Proficiency in CRM tools
  • Knowledge of the energy industry is a plus
