My client is an Australian owned industry leading provider of industrial consumables, cargo protection and safety products. They provide innovative solutions and products to keep industries compliant, safe and productive.


The company supplies customers across a wide range of industries with their operational duties from Cargo Care, to Environmental Spill Control, to Restraint Systems, to Service Programs.


As the Business Development Manager you will lead the effort to maximize sales volume, growth and account penetration by effectively selling the Company’s products and services with a select portfolio of Key Accounts and also building new business within their designated territory.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Service existing Key Accounts B2B, email and telephone contact
  • Drive relationships within the Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics continuously proposing solutions that meet their business objectives.
  • Utilising key customer / market intelligence provide accurate sales forecasts for individual and branch sales targets
  • Recommend solutions and negotiations of account contracts and pricing
  • Identify new business leads through research, cold calling and active engagement in the market
  • Develop presentations and/or information on Product & services tailored to the needs of each lead business


Requirements:

  • Previous experience in B2B Business Development positions
  • Demonstrated ability to develop or manage and maintain a portfolio of commercial relationships
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel on the job
