We are seeking an ambitious and forward thinking Business Development Manager to join and lead our Brisbane based Sales Team

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and focused sales team who pride themselves on the delivery of a high-quality, market-leading, Australian-made product

The main focus of the position as Business Development Manager is to deliver consistent, profitable growth in sales revenue by generating new business opportunities while maintaining and developing our existing customer base in the region.

Key responsibilities of the role: (but not limited to)

Take a leadership role in the development and implementation of the Strategic Sales plan for your region and team
 

  • Pro-actively hunt for target organisations and establish communications with those businesses that can benefit from Alcolizer products and services
  • Lead the Queensland sales team to achieve the agreed objectives for Queensland/ National sales
  • Adopt a hands-on approach in monitoring the implementation and execution of business development opportunities
  • Actively participate with the wider sales team in development of National Customers
  • Maintain client and contact information including contacts, meetings and calls, quotations, and potential prospects


To be successful in this role you will require:

  • Hold a relevant degree in Business, Management or Marketing *desirable
  • Have at least 5 years industry experience in a sales /BD environment
  • Have a National Police Clearance (no older than 3 months old)
  • Be professional with well-developed business acumen.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
  • Good PC skills especially with Microsoft suite, and CRM systems
  • Have full and unrestricted Australian work rights (NO Sponsorship is ava)
  • Self-starter who can take direction and learn quickly
  • The ability to multi-task, prioritise effectively, and deliver results against tight deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude is essential.
  • Experience as a cold calling champion, with the ability to interact with people from a broad range of cultural and social backgrounds
