Description:

My client is seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead their efforts in expanding the business within the Fire industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing and implementing growth strategies, and building strong relationships with customers and industry partners. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in the Fire industry, a proven track record in sales and business development, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify new business opportunities and develop a strategic plan to grow the company's HVAC business.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, industry partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research to stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and operations team to ensure customer needs are met and projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Monitoring and reporting on market trends and competitors activities
  • Prepare and present sales proposals and negotiate contracts with customers.

Successful Criteria:

  • Previous experience in sales or business development in the HVAC industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Uptick is a must.
