Your new role

Reporting to the National Business Development Director you will be responsible for:

  • Achieving new business targets
  • Increasing the company's revenue and margin by targeting high yield prospects including the acquisition and mix of key account, major account and SME opportunitie
  • Building referral and lead generation network
  • Creating and being accountable for client proposals, contracts, and related documentation
  • Identifying and developing business opportunities including opportunities to leverage technology and integrated facilities management into new and existing clients
  • Developing and nurturing relationships with new clients with a strong focus on industry solutions
  • Gathering and utilising market intelligence covering customer, and competitor’s products and sales strategies
  • Closely monitor progress of business development performance, KPI reporting, and tracking sales initiatives within the assigned territory

What you'll need to succeed

  • Service selling background (for example building maintenance, security services, waste management)
  • Accustomed to securing deals with contract values of up to $500k to $1 million (and the long sales processes that go with it)
  • Exposure selling into a variety of customers and decision makers, from Facilities Management through to Procurement and C-Suite
  • Hunter mentality, highly driven to win new business
  • Competent in Tender processes
