About the role
As the BDM for WA, you’ll be responsible for driving revenue for the state across equipment sales and rentals – although predominantly you’ll focus on equipment rentals in the Mining space. You’ll be out on the road, opening doors and developing relationships with the target customer base, provide technical information to customers about the machines, and negotiate rental contracts (with support from the CEO)
As the business develops in WA, eventually the company would like to set up a branch/operation here and build a team which could also fall under your remit if you are ambitious to progress into a leadership role.

About you
You must be a new business hunter, who can successfully open doors to generate business opportunities. You’ll come from an equipment rentals/heavy machinery background, with ideally, experience selling into the Mining sector in WA.
You’ll be able to commit to travelling to develop your state revenue, and you’ll thrive in a “start-up’ environment where it is down to you to get the results for your territory.
