Business Development Manager

This appointment will be suited to an experienced business development professional looking to advance their career.

Reporting to the Executive Director of Mental Health Strategy, we are seeking a Business Development and Partnership Manager to provide support to the Victorian Mental Health Executive Team and help to identify how Healthscope’s mental health services can be best positioned to uniquely address market demand.

This will include the identification of innovative programs and services, partnerships that deliver revenue growth, as well as nurturing and enhancing referral pathways and Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) engagement.

This role works collaboratively across four private hospitals within the Healthscope network including three dedicated mental health facilities - The Melbourne Clinic, The Victoria Clinic, The Geelong Clinic and one co-located facility, Northpark Private Hospital.

With expertise in mental health services, the Business Development and Partnerships Manager - Mental Health (VIC), is a commercially astute, passionate and driven individual who excels in collaborating with others to bring new business opportunities to fruition. To achieve this, they will demonstrate:

• A profound understanding of mental health services and service requirements
• Proven experience with tender development and grant submissions
• The ability to develop and nurture strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders, internal and external to the organisation
• Highly developed interpersonal skills
• Passion for ensuring favourable outcomes for people suffering from mental illness
• An entrepreneurial and innovative spirit and a drive to explore and seize opportunities that deliver value
• Strong analytical skills – demonstrated ability to utilise data to support key initiatives and strategies that drive enhanced commercial outcomes
• A high level of interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
• Proficient computer literacy
