The Company

As a fast-growing Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) innovation company, our client designs and commercialises turnkey power systems solutions for Commercial, Industrial and Utility-scale projects.

They have been successfully supporting customers in the Commercial & Industrial market since inception and are looking to expand their portfolio of projects in the Utility Scale market, mainly focusing on small utility-scale projects (sub 5MW).

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Sales Director, the Business Development Manager will assume a pivotal role for the business, at a critical time of its development.

With a national level of responsibility, the main focus will be driving sales and business activities for battery energy storage system (B.E.S.S) solutions in Australia and supporting the end-to-end process for accounts and projects from initial approach through to commercial operation

Role Responsibilities

  • Generate and follow up quality leads in the small utility solar sector.
  • Actively engage with potential and existing customers and partners to maximise sales opportunities.
  • Actively promote the brand and unique value proposition amongst industry, B2B customers and end-users by attending and presenting at industry events, including trade fairs and conferences.
  • Develop and manage long-term relationships with clients and ensure all service levels are complying with their requirements and needs.
  • Conduct client visits and present business proposals.
  • Build and manage relationships with potential developers, utilities, integrators, and EPC firms within the Renewable Energy market
  • Develop plans and strategies to develop business and achieve the company’s Sales goals.
