The UNSW Torch Innovation Precinct is a high priority initiative under the UNSW 2025 strategy. It is a premier destination for entrepreneurship showcasing Chinese and Australian collaboration bringing together industry, SMEs, entrepreneurs, investors and policy makers from Australia, China and beyond.

Reporting to and supporting the Head of Torch Innovation Precinct, this critical role manages external and strategic relationships with industry, government and internal stakeholders, leads negotiating research and commercialisation deals for the University to achieve key revenue targets, and oversees research projects ensuring milestones and deliverables are met on time and managing partner relationships.

Key relationships include internal stakeholders, external industry organisations and Australia/China government and non-government funding bodies at the state, national and international level. Chinese language and interpreting skills are mandatory.
