About the role
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for;
- Building, managing and developing relationships with tier-two and tier-three Builders across Victoria.
- Managing and maintaining relationships with Fabricators across Victoria
- Work closely with National Specification Manager to ensure that specifications are held
- Identifying and influencing key stakeholders in projects with new and existing clients
- Working closely with clients through the project process to manage their expectations and meet their requirements
- Tracking and providing status reports on projects
- Keep abreast of best practices in market and communicate trends back to the business
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for candidates with the following skills and experience;
- Demonstrated sales experience, with the proven history of engaging with customers, building multi-layered relationships across accounts and influencing key stakeholders is critical to the role
- Proven performer, with a demonstrated track record of success
- Ability to manage a defined sales process and influence stakeholders through a project sales process
- Excellent account management and relationship building skills
- Aptitude for learning new products / applications and design concepts
- Highly developed communication, presentation, negotiation and influencing skills
- Innovative thinker, who will challenge themselves and the business to deliver unique solutions to clients
- High levels of commitment, desire, enthusiasm and a positive demeanour
