About the Opportunity
As the key contact for new and existing clients, the Business Development Manager will utilise their ability to develop strong relationships to generate sales and build the Complete Water Damage Services’ brand.
As a newly created position, this presents an exciting opportunity for someone to join the organisation and make the role their own! We’re on the hunt for a self-motivated go-getter who loves going above and beyond to triumph personal sales targets and organisation KPI’s.
Your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospects and clients
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through marketing, networking, and cold-calling
  • Develop and present proposals and pitch materials to prospects
  • Plan and execute a successful marketing program to generate inbound enquiries
  • Attend industry events and networking opportunities
  • Continuously seek to improve sales and business development processes and strategies.

This role offers a flexible work environment with the option to work from home when not meeting with clients or in the office.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated 2+ years’ experience in a similar business development or sales position. With a hunger to grow the pipeline, you will be customer-focussed with strong strategic and tactical sales and negotiation skills and have the ability to identify and connect with new prospects.
In addition to the above, to be successful in this role you will have/be:

  • Proven ability to develop a sales plan, set sales targets, and research new areas of business
  • Proven ability to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets in B2B sales
  • Fluent in the full sales lifecycle
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, external organisations, and internal stakeholders
  • Proven ability to work effectively autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Positive and flexible attitude with the ability to manage own time
  • Problem-solving skills under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Understanding of CRM systems and best practices
  • A valid Australian driver’s licence
  • A strong existing network of insurance/insurance repair industry contacts is highly beneficial.
