Business Development Manager

My client is a global SaaS organisation who provide a cutting-edge SaaS platform for digital survey based research. A game changing platform that is being used by clients around the globe

They are continuing to build their Australian team and are looking to recruit a Senior Business Development Manager to target new and existing accounts.

The Business Development Manager in the client acquisition team is responsible for pursuing new logo prospects and selling bespoke solutions primarily into large commercial and enterprise markets. We are looking for self-starting closers who can build a strong pipeline of business, as well as collaborate on upselling and cross-selling opportunities with existing clients.

The Role:

• Manage sales pipeline through sequential stages of the sales process: Pipeline creation, initial outreach, product demos, negotiation and closing new deals, and upselling / cross selling to existing clients
• Take a consultative sales approach with C-Level Executives while navigating multiple decision makers
• Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to clients and determine their needs, create value, build engagement, and interest in Meltwater’s solutions
• Conduct sales activities such as nurturing inbound and outbound leads, run client calls & product demos, email marketing, social selling, presenting / pitching to top tier Fortune 500 clients, etc.

Ideal Candidate

• 4 – 8 years of experience in B2B Sales roles, ideally in the SaaS industry
• Experience selling to Australia market is a must
• Track record of consistently overachieving against sales targets
• Self-motivated, disciplined, and target oriented – you have drive, stamina and a killer instinct in sales
• Much experience booking & conducting software demos, and covered full sales processes from prospecting to closing of deals
