Business Development Manager

Description:

We're looking for a Business Development Manager IPS & IHW, who will be based in Eastern Creek office and report to National Sales Manager. You will protect and grow the portfolio of existing accounts and winning new business within the IPS and IHW space to achieve the and sales profitability targets for assigned region.

You will build relationships with Store owners and team members by personally engaging in business agreements, compliance, sales negotiations, presentations, promotional activities and doing business that focuses on creating a positive experience for the customer with the goal to turn opportunities into sustainable and profitable business.

Responsibilities

• Achieve the sales and profit budgets and targets across several measures for assigned channel and region.
• Developing segment plans, needs analysis and individual gap plans for existing and important growth potential customers.
• Present agreements to stores, driving long term sustainable business partnerships and coordinate all marketing activity are rolled out following relevant procedures.
• Recommend core ranges that maximize profitability for the PPG business and support the brand strategy.
• Increase and maintain trade distribution locations (IPS & IHW) ensuring maximum distribution coverage in important city and strategic regional areas.
• Delivering professional product / training presentations to team members and implement call cycle together with existing local representation.
• Prospecting to convert IPS & IHW stores over to PPG to increase footprint following the state strategy.
• Manage expenses following company expectations while maintaining reporting standards.

Requirements

• Successful track record in business development management.
• Retail / Hardware Industry knowledge and store operational experience
• Commercial knowledge of the coatings industry
• Value selling skills, achieve organic growth and acquire new business.
