By joining this industry leader in recyclable waste management; you will be responsible for all things business development and engagement. Whether that be working with current clients and strengthening relationships or independently working to find new business with organisations who need to improve their landfill diversion by offering sustainable and environmentally focused solutions.

All waste is a resource and your new organisation aim to incorporate recovery, recycling and reuse throughout operations and those of the clients involved, through offering tailored and sustainable solutions to customers large and small.

The Daily Agenda:

As the Business Development Manager your day will revolve around all things sales (but that doesn’t just mean closing a deal). You will be engaging with clients about adding value to their waste and recyclable run off through explaining the optimised internal processes and framework that puts you leaps and bounds in front of your competitors.

Once your new diverse client list understands and want the value creation found in services offered, you will put together waste proposals and tenders to make sure the framework is in place for the solutions discussed.

What You’ll Bring To Be Recycled:

• Strong business development and sales experience (you know how to find and talk to new potential clients as well as your loyal current customers).
• Excellent negotiation skills with strong customer focused ethics.
• Ability to create, build and maintain a strong solid pipeline with ongoing lead generation.
• Ability to prepare and submit regular market intelligence and tender waste solution proposals for new business.
• Knowledge of the waste management industry (desirable but not essential).
