As a Business Development Manager, you will be client facing, maintaining new and existing client relationships and responsible for growing profitable sales revenue by providing product solutions to end users, predominantly to E+ P companies. You will need to have a good technical understanding on seismic data management, data storage and organisation and selling. Your key responsibilities Include.
- Show that you are aware of the client's needs in terms of subsurface data management and present solutions to meet them.
- Achieve annual revenue targets
- Managing your own time to optimise business development activity
- Developing sales pipelines and target client strategies
- Liaising at site and office levels in a multi-tier sales process involving a mixture of technical and commercial conversations with clients
- Supporting clients with the best solutions to product needs within the Oil and Gas sector to maximise growth
- Understanding your customer needs and requirements, and acting on those to drive continual improvement
- Maintaining and expanding your database of prospects within your assigned territory
- Developing proposals for clients, and managing processes from conception to completion
- Effectively shape and execute marketing plans
- Handle objections by clarifying, emphasising agreements, and working through differences to a positive conclusion - use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.
- Present and demonstrate technologies to perspective clients.
- Provide business developers and other internal workers with coaching and training in business development.
- You are an accomplished Business Development manager with a strong understanding of Subsurface data management in E&P industry.
- Good understanding of Geophysical and Geological data and information
