Due to the company's consistent and rapid growth, there is currently a newly created opportunity to join the organisation in the role of Business Development Manager - QLD.
About the role
Reporting directly into the Head of Sales, the position forms part of a national team of BDM's and is responsible for the acquisition and management of new and existing customers to achieve targets and drive continual growth.
More specifically, you will be involved in the following;
Researching, identifying and approaching small to medium sized builders, developers and architects to develop a pipeline of new leads and opportunities;
Responding to inbound leads and enquiries within a timely manner;
Presenting the Plungie product range to builders, developers and architects to grow sales;
Developing and executing a territory plan to achieve KPI's and budgets;
Negotiating pricing and delivery time frames;
Maintaining accurate customer records and reporting through Salesforce; and
Working closely with the Head of Sales and other key stakeholders around forecasting and forward planning.
About you
3+ years' experience in a similar Sales or Account Management role from a related industry e.g. Building products;
Highly motivated with exceptional relationship management and interpersonal skills;
Prior experience selling a high-end product or solution based on value would be an asset;
Demonstrated experience and willingness to develop new business and achieve sales targets;
Well-developed communication skills (written & verbal) with the ability to present to senior decision makers;
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, including the ability to manage customer expectations;
Strong planning, prioritising and time management skills; and
Professionally presented, articulate and results orientated.
