About the team
LexisNexis Risk Solutions (LNRS) is looking for a high caliber Business Development Manager to join its team in Sydney to drive growth across the Australian and New Zealand Markets. Reporting to the Sales Director – ANZ, you will be responsible for achieving New Business and Revenue targets by engaging with existing/prospective customers and promoting the value of LNRS product suite across an assigned territory.
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:
Achieves sales and renewal targets for accounts in assigned territory
Develop a strategic business plan, organise and execute sales campaigns in order to increase market share and maximise revenue growth
Create account plans for significant prospects and customers to ensure the successful management of opportunities in line with agreed expectations
Reports and Forecasts on performance against objectives on a regular basis
Maintains accurate and informative prospect and customer records using Salesforce.com
Build and maintain effective long-term relationships and a high level of satisfaction with prospects and existing customers to develop relationships to better understand their business, their goals, and their requirements
Establishes strong working relationships with all other areas of LNRS in order to meet customer expectations and deliver on agreed objectives
Delivers a high level of customer satisfaction through a consultative sales approach
Attend conferences and exhibitions as required to represent the LNRS team
Shares best practice across the sales team
Keeps abreast of any changes in the industry/market by talking to customers, industry experts, partners, and own research; and interprets the changes and the effects this will have on the solutions
Be seen as a subject matter expert across the industry and promote the LNRS brand and yourself through social media channels and at in-person events.
Experience selling Data, Technology, AML, Payments or Fraud Solutions would be an advantage
Self-motivated, driven, and a result orientated team player with a successful track record in sales.
Excellent Communication, Presentation and Time Management skills
Strong commercial acumen and understanding of customer drivers and buying behavior’s
Ability to develop new business opportunities as well as build and execute effective account management plans.
