Business Development Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Business Development Manager for our vet professional educational business, Improve International. Reporting to the business Director, the BDM will help drive our business and the company using successful growth strategies. The role will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency of business operations as well as setting strategic goals for the future. Also, to ensure profitability of practice activities, help drive sustainable and long-term success, producing financial reports related to budgets and P&L’s, reviewing financial practice information, reporting trends and outcomes to management and stakeholders
The ideal applicant will be motivated and share a vision for a collaborative working environment, where referring veterinarians and pet owners receive personal gold standard service. The right candidate will be part of a high performing team and will be expected to have:

• Business intelligence (MBA or Business Qualifications)
• Ability to meet tight time schedules and manage monthly/quarterly/episodic finance deliverables
• Provide support for other AEA ECC initiatives
• An analytical mind
• Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships
• Commercial and business awareness
• Good communication skills – both written and verbal
• A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data
• Ability to stick to time constraints
