Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria is also the custodian of the $340 million State Botanical Collection (including over 1.5 million preserved plants, algae and fungi), housed within the National Herbarium of Victoria, and is a hub for global plant knowledge, with internationally recognised biodiversity management and conservation research programs.

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven and experienced Business Development Lead to join one of Victoria's most iconic organisations. The position plays a key role within the Corporate Services division, responsible for the identification, development and implementation of sustainable corporate partnerships for Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria (RBGV), including achieving related financial and engagement targets. You will manage a small team to drive the development of a partnership pipeline, manage commercial leases and licenses, and lead the design and delivery of long-term strategies relating to tenant management.
About You
The successful candidate will have an impressive history of building B2B relationships within the corporate sector. A natural communicator with a creative flare, you have a demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality and engaging pitches to your audience, reflected in your strong record for achieving Corporate Partnership income targets. You have a good understanding of Australian philanthropic giving environment including Corporate Social Responsibility and Impact Investment. You bring a flexible and open-minded approach to problem solving, ensuring a successful outcome for all stakeholders.
